Language Grab - speculation
This is a great activity to broaden your students speculation vocabulary and therefore help them greatly in doing exams. I�ve found this to be greatly useful for CAE and FCE parts 2 and 3.

Top 10 inventions
Cut titles and numbers off each invention on the list. Get students to debate name the order of importance (according to a group of scientists) of the inventions then have each student write 2 multiple choice questions about their invention. Next get the other students to answer the questions.
