Hello dear colleagues! I am preparing my kids for YEL starters and have already faced scarcity of reading materials designed for such an age group. It is a gap filling reading with vocab provided in pictures. I hope it will come handy for those who have kids students of the same level.

A nice picture with animals to train CAN/CAN�T structure. The animals do fantastic things. Children find an animal in the picture and say (write down) a sentence for example: The fish cannot fly! Some animals perform possible actions. In this case children say: the bird can fly. A funny activity for very young learners.
