Create a fairy story sequencing cards
Unfortunately all the text boxes have been mixed up on the preview but when downloaded its fine and looks much better. Cut out the story cards and character cards and students have to put them in order to make a story. Its a simple story for beginners and my young students really enjoyed this activity. We used it when we were studying certain a...

Emotions: Expressions and Popular Slang (part 1)
This is a worksheet for adults including a matching exercise and then a fill-in-the-gaps telephone conversation between 2 friends. Its about commonly used slang and expressions to describe feelings. Im afraid Ive had to send the definitions key separately as I couldnt fit it under 300kb. My adult class had a lot of fun with this. Fully edit...

Brain Game
What do we spend most of the time thinking about? I used this little game as a warm-up with an adults conversation class. It is not suitable for children - though if the examples were changed it could be.

Fun Easter Game
Cut the eggs in half along the jagged line. Give each students 2 mismatched halves as they enter the class. They must mingle and find their opposite. Great as a quick warm up or as a longer activity - more instructions on page 4. Fun little game for Easter.

Emotions; Expressions and Slang - Definition and Key (part 2)
Ive had to send the key separately as I couldnt get the whole worksheet in under 300kb, sorry about that. All examples are useful expressions or slang relating to emotions - I have a couple of advanced students who also found some of these challenging!

Describing Sounds
When working on the five senses I made this little matching exercise to go with what I can hear. Students then listened to recorded sounds and tried to describe them. Makes a fun lesson. Key included.

Easter Quiz
Here is a simple quiz I use with the children at Easter. The class is divided into 3 or 4 teams. I usually turn it into a "Who wants to be a millionaire?" game - they can "phone a friend" (in this case phone anyone in the room), "50/50" (I eliminate 2 answers) or "ask the audience" (in this case the rest of the class). Lots of fun!
