Venn Diagram- 3 Billy Goats Gruff
A good activity to build on vocabulary. I complete this activity in pairs to allow students to verbalise and justify where they choose to put each adjective. This helps to provide a rough scaffold for students to write their own descriptions of each character.
It can also be extended to include synonyms for some of the more common words.

A good resource to use when at the beginning of the year. It allows students to introduce themselves to the rest of the class. It can also be used as a talking and listening activity where students share their profiles. Alternatively, you can get students to interview each other and complete the profiles for each other.

Irregular Verbs in Past Tense
A fun and entertaining way to learn irregular past tense verbs
Students roll a die and must say the past tense form of the verb, such as sing=sang, see=saw etc.
To make it more challenging, I encourage students to put the past tense verb into a sentence. This allows them to also practice sentence construction skills.
Happy Playing! :)
