This is the inside of a book about a birthday party. I created it to use with 1st and 2nd grade ELL students to introduce a more complex sentence structure. The sentences use a prepositional phrase at the beginning.

One Sad, Little Boy- worksheet
This is a worksheet I created to go with the "One Sad, Little Boy" book. Ss will put the pictures in the order of the story. Ordinal number words are above the blank boxes. Ss will then write about their favorite parts of the story using specific language structures and vocabulary from the story.
