Adjective Clause Review Game
This is a game I created using the same form as my Gerund/Infinitive Review board game. Note: Even though the graphic looks cut off, it downloads fine and intact.

Thanksgiving Brain Challenge
I downloaded Paula A.s fantastic Halloween Brain Challenge, and my students loved it so much that I created a Thanksgiving Brain Challenge as a follow-up. They really liked that too. My version isnt as pretty as Paulas (sorry!), but with her blessing and permission I am sharing it. I hid the tasks around the room and created clues that a volunte...

Thanksgiving Game and Brain Challenge
This game with answer key is an adaptation of Paula A.s fantastic Halloween Brain Challenge. There are 7 different activities. Ive shortened some of the activities, so think of this as the shortened version of the other one. My students loved it last year and Im looking forward to doing this shorter game this year. It should take about 45 minute...

Review of Gerunds and Infinitives Game
I adapted this board game from one another teacher gave me. It works great to review the basic rules for using gerunds and infinitives. Students love it.
NOTE: The formatting in the preview looks like the grid cuts off on the first page. However, I downloaded it myself just to make sure, and it downloads in its complete form.

Halloween Superlative Taste Test
My students enjoyed this activity last Halloween. I brought in 4 different types of candy for them to describe. They then voted on what candy I provided the kids at Halloween. I recommend using 4 very different types of candy. I used Paydays, Nestle Crunch, Reeses and Skittles. This will give them a lot to compare.

Valentine "Mad-lib" Verb Tense Review
My students have loved this activity for years. I pull it out around Valentines Day to review parts of speech. It works like a mad-lib, if you are familiar with them. Students work in small groups or pairs to come up with random words using the parts of speech listed. Then, they insert the random words into the "Valentine." I put a copy of the let...
