Ice-breaking activity
The ice-breaking activity could be used at the beginning of the semester. The purpose of the worksheet is for students to know each other better and "break the ice" when they first meet in class. After the interview, teachers may randomly ask some students to introduce their partners by sharing their answers to the questions.

Using Shel Silverstein�s picture book "The Missing Piece Meets the Big O" as a starter to discuss love, students will talk about qualities in their Mr./Ms. Right. Figurative comparisons of love (simile and metaphor) will be practiced, too.
