I-minute-Speech
A good and short task which I use as a warm up at the beginning ot a lesson. Students take out one stripe of paper from an envelope or a paper bag, or a hat, whatever, and are to speak for not less then 1 minute. The winner - the one who speaks for the whole minute.

Debate 1 - statements
Cut up the statements and put them in the paper bag. A student chooses one statement for a group to discuss. The next step is to provide Ss with Debate Phrases (wil be added tomorrow)like we deal out a pack of cards. A group starts to discuss the statement.
