The Whale Rider extract 1
Working on New Zealand with my pupils, I�ve decided to use some parts of the movie "The Whale Rider" in class. Here is the first extract I have chosen (the very beginning of the movie). I used this song to work on personality adjectives and to have my pupils discuss about this song. Depending on the level of your class, you can use either modals (should, ought to ...) to give Orianthi some pieces of advice or use the videoclip on youtube to (re-)use the physical description vocabulary etc...
