From Little Things Big Things Grow - Paul Kelly
I use this song as an intro or end to a lesson on Indigenous Australia. It tells the story of the Gurindji Strike (I have a reading worksheet on that too) and the start of the land rights movement in Australia. And its an awesome song too :)
I usually pre-teach some vocab - (swag/rations etc)

L & R pronunciation
Pronunciation activity with instructions on 3rd page. Focus on l/r pronunciation - good for Korean, Japanese and Chinese speakers :)
I had trouble uploading this worksheet with mouth pictures to show the tongues position but they can be found at www.soundsofenglish.org . Also the formatting is a bit off - its ok on my comp but when I upload it...

Melbourne Cup Webquest
Put your class into 3 groups and ensure they have access to the internet via phones on computers. Give them half an hour to research their questions, then each group presents their findings to the class. Simple, fun and informative! We usually do this on the Friday or Monday before the Melbourne Cup.

Some more problematic sounds for ESL learners. This activitiy helps them to hear the difference between p/f/b/v as well as produce the sound themselves. I use this mostly with Korean and Japanese speakers but other nationalities may also benefit. Instructions are on the 3rd sheet. Enjoy :)
