Im a Brit living in Spain teaching English because thats all I could find over here. I like it though. I also upload my worksheets on ISL Collective, normally a day or two after I have done so here. br You can order my books by pasting this into the browser: https://www.amazon.es/Dale-Bates/e/B08QD5M5PQ?ref=sr_ntt_srch_lnk_1&qid=1613573760&sr=8-1

Another one for Aftab57: I have used this a fair bit and found it to be very helpful. Also, the students love it. There is a little bit of grammar at the beginning but it is all laid out so, no need to spend time writing on the board. I get the students to read the sentences out and then get them to give me other examples. There is then a dice game...

I dont get it!
I used this with an adult group and it was a lot of fun explaining why the British would laugh at these terrible puns. It was also a good way to look at homophones, connected speech, idioms and phrasal verbs. It can be used with younger students if the last page is removed as that one is specifically for adults. A kind of answer key is at the back ...
