Business story cards.
I use this to help students fluency it works especially well if the student needs to do this in the past tense. This set is aimed more at business students, but I have purposely included some cards that are a little bit strange to through out the students train of thought, and challenge their English.

find someone who present continuous
Use this activity in a class to introduce the idea of present continuous, to false beginners (Test teach test) or you can use it for the free-er practice later in a class. Gives students practice in making questions with the present continuous. As a review get the students to say the sentences in the affirmative form.
