Education- Comparing using "than"
This is mainly for conversation use. I incorporated the usage of "than" to give a more formal structure to the lesson and to allow students to practice using "than" to show differences. It is great if you work with adult students- intermediate to advanced levels. I hope you enjoy it. It can be modified to your liking :-)

Idioms Follow Up Activity
I used this worksheet as a follow up to introducing new idioms to foreign exchange students as a way of supporting their new found knowledge. I wanted to find a way to expand their understanding and thought that using a writing exercise might do the trick. Hope you enjoy!

Olympic ESL Relay Games
I tested this out with my foreign exchange students and they really seemed to get excited about the fun competition. It really got their attention and got them less focused on the fact that they were learning! I hope you enjoy it and please leave a comment!

Present Perfect Tense-Group Activity
I love using this activity with my students. It gets them out of their seats and excited about learning about their classmates as well. It also gets them speaking and interacting with each other.

Using Adjectives + Prepositions
This worksheet I designed as an addition to something I found in a book called Games for Grammar Practice by Cambridge University Press. I designed this to reinforce the grammar structure of adjectives + prepositions- I also modified the usage by introducing the phrase used to. I then used a cloze sentence exercise with a word box as well. T...
