A simple Beatles song for a fun listening exercise. It permits practice with the Present Perfect tense and some vocabulary regarding the winter season. Students generally love music and using songs helps them learn new words and copy rhythm and intonation.

Penny Lane - Song Exercise
Students love listening to music and this is a good way to teach vocabulary as well as verb tenses. This song has some present simples and present continuous verbs. I have used it with an elementary class, but it would suit an intermediate level as well.
