A Typical Day for an American Teenager
A text written by my 13 year-old cousin who lives in Miami, describing her typical day. Give the worksheet to the students, the read the text and have them fill in the blanks (good for oral comprehension). Then, they answer the questions for reading comprehension. Also a good source of discussion for cultural differences.
