Excellent for complete beginners of English. The pictures could be cut out and be used as a memory game, or simply as a matching activity. /it is ideal taht this game be accompanied by the alphabet workshett which I will post later on.

Mysterious Person
Excellent to use as an ice-breaker. Give each card to a different student and tell them to impersonate that character. The others can ask questions to guess who he/she is but the answer should only be yes or no. With this exercise you can revise both questions and physical description.
