 		 Common Mistakes
 This is a list of common English mistakes made by Chinese students. You can use it in many ways but what works for me is to have groups or individuals fix the mistakes and then bet on how many they think they got correct. Simple but effective.

 		 Idioms I
 This is a very simple activity used for understanding idioms. I usually write the idiom on the board and then have students guess the meaning in groups. I awarded points for students who guess correctly. If no one guesses correctly then I state the sentence and/or give clues until the correct answer is given.

 Cut each "like" statement and hand out one to every Ss. Make sure you give the correct slips of paper if you have less than 45 Ss. This can be a good warmer for any opinions/likes/dislikes lesson plan.
