long vowels memory game to enforce sight reading, 4pages
page 1, long a words, p.2 long e, p.3 long o, p.4 mixed long vowels, incl. long u. I copy on heavy colored paper, cut up and let them play memory games, making them read each word out loud. Not the most amazing sheet but it does the job; students need to translate the (very basic) adjectives and then describe the two characters in simple sentences. i use it to check how much of the vocabulary they remember after the unit on adjectives.
