My Great Canadian Experience
This project was done by students who were studying in Canada but you can change it to any country. Students had to video tape themselves or make a video adding pictures and their voice to describe the time they spent in Canada. It was a great assessment tool for writing and speaking!

M & M Icebreaker
Each student gets a baggie with 4 M&M�s. They then have to answer the questions based on the colours of M&M�s in their bag. You can also give them a few more M&M�s so they can sample 2 or more first and then answer the questions. The students love the activity because they also get to eat candy!

www.animoto.com allows you to get an education license for free and then students can log into the site with your code for free. This is an excellent way for students to introduce themselves and then late you can show the videos to the entire class.
