Im a Brit living in Spain teaching English because thats all I could find over here. I like it though. I also upload my worksheets on ISL Collective, normally a day or two after I have done so here. br You can order my books by pasting this into the browser: https://www.amazon.es/Dale-Bates/e/B08QD5M5PQ?ref=sr_ntt_srch_lnk_1&qid=1613573760&sr=8-1

Verb Picture Bingo
Cut out the bingo cards. Cut out the words and place in a cup. Give a bingo card to each student. Take a word out of the cup one at a time and say the word out loud. Students cross out the picture of the word if they have it on their card. The first to cross out all the pictures on their card shouts Bingo! and is the winner of that round.

Motorway Directions Vocabulary
Ive been using something similar to this for years and it works very well with the students. This is the prettier, updated version but still works the same way. English and Spanish Accents - Video Worksheet
This is for adult groups and only in places where sex can be talked about in a light-hearted manner, as a couple of the jokes the comedian uses are on the spicy side. A short video of about 2 and a half minutes about English and Spanish accents, along with questions, and a very short vocabulary list, makes this into an entertaining listening compre...

Fatboy: A reading
I wrote this a few years back because I didnt like the way the other kids kept calling one of their number "Gordito" and they never took any notice when I told them it was rude. Mind you, they loved the story when I made them read it and although they still called him "Gordito," they never said it to him in English. So mission accomplished - kind ...

One Foot in the Grave Lesson Plans
For the BBC TV series "One Foot in the Grave." More apt for upper intermediate students. Here are some question sheets for all episodes, bar one, of series 2 plus the first episode of series 3. The show may appear a bit dated for modern tastes but its a nice way to teach vocabulary and to show it in action. Also good for fixed expressions such as ...
