This is a passport I created for the beginning of the school year. I created this when i was a primary school teacher in New Zealand. There is a lot in it that you can use in an ESOL classroom. I have made some changes so that it is more relevant for ESOL. I printed this with 2 pages/A4 page in booklet form. It creates a little book. It is rea...

Daily Diary Template
Hi This is my template I made for my class to do daily diary writing. I print and give them one half of the page (2 templates/page)
The children have to paste into their writing books - write the day and date and then say how they feel and why.
This takes about 5 minutes at the beginning of my day.

FlashCard Games - Volume One
I have typed up 5 of my favourite FlashCard Games. I use the flashcards from Booglesworld. I have gien more detail in the games I play than I find on other sites.
Games have recommendations for their uses - Ie introduce new vocabulary - revise old vocabulary. These are not original games - but have the rules as I play them.

Coloured Animal Dominoes
A very straight forward domino activity for young learners of English. Give one page to each pair of children in the classroom. Have them cut out the dominoes and then organise them from start to finish.
Alternatively print on card or laminate. Have a couple of sets for your children to have races with in your free time activity box.

NUMBER HOUSES
This is a lesson plan for the teacher with a worksheet attached.
It teaches your students how to pronounce numbers into the millions. A simple lesson that children, teenagers and adults find really helpful. Can take from 10 - 30 minutes to teach.
Never again will students wonder when to say the thousand!
Enjoy. Vicki
