This form, based upon the idea of a sandwich, is meant to help students understand and put together a book report. This includes an explanation of summary, characters, opinion and gives a form to it all. This has proven immensely helpful to my ESL high school students.

This is a multi-spaced vocabulary organizer that helps students to get a better understanding of a word besides a straight definition. This model is an adaptation of the Frayer Model, which makes comparisons and asks students to synthesize information to a higher level, thus, helping them to recall these new words with greater accuracy.
