ESL Speaking Final Assessment
This can be used as a pre or post assessment for oral communication skills. It assesses a student�s knowledge of 5 verb tenses; they are asked a question and must respond using the appropriate verb tense (simple past, present perfect, present, present continuous, and future). A five-item/ 4 scale level rubric is used to evaluate the skills.

Rainbow Icebreaker
The students receive a colorful image of a rainbow whereby they write their name and a goal inside the clouds. There are 6 questions which pushes the student to self-assess their values, likes, dislikes, and imagination. Using their answers, they write a short paragraph story.

Self-Assessment on Responsibility
This self-assessment allows a student to track completion of tasks in 3 different classes. They must identify the reason why a task is not completed on a daily basis and must grade themself using a 4 scale rubric. This worksheet promotes student responsibility for monitoring their own progress and to identify procrastination early in the quarter.

Guess the Covered Word - Theme: Community Resource Fair
