 		 Slang
 I use this with my GED students because they are so used to slang that they don�t even recognize that something is slang. Some of my ESL students are using the same phrases and often ask about them.

 I cut these apart and have students pick them randomly from an envelope. They then create a sentence that will use it correctly. they share the sentence with others in a small group or write it on an overhead to share with the whole class.
