Problems with a Christmas Tree :-) Past Simple
Cut the cards, give them to students and they should ask one another a question? WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR CHRISTMAS TREE? Answering , they practice past forms of regular and irregular verbs.
After they get the answer they may ask additional questions e.g. How did it happen, why.......; what were you doing when it happened etc?

Passive Voice- create a sentence
Students may get either a copy of this or pick cards (you would have to cut the pictures into separate ones )in groups. Then they read the propmpts and create their sentenses in passive voice. Drawing �lots� works better if you�ve got competitive Ss.:-)
