I have found the distinction between adverbs and adjectives quite problematic, even for my advanced students. Grammar can be fun!
Auxiliary verbs are replaced with food words. Students have to figure out what the food words stand for. My Ss LOVED it, they had a laugh out of it + they revised the use of auxuliaries and the verb to be in the present tense. Hope you like it!
