I used it like this: I put my students into pairs, and gave one activity-sheet per pair. Then I gave them different-color markers, and told them to cross out the words I said. It can be done in several ways, such as:
1) you can say the word itself
2) you can spell the word
3) you can say the translation of the word
4) you can give a definition...
