cut the paper into strips and then have each student pick one. have them read their sentences to be sure they understand the vocabulary. they then have to pick between the two options and say why. this is a good way to practice the conditional, get an opportunity to speak, and also enjoy a couple of laughs!

Students come up with 1 truth and 2 lies. They write them on their sheets, in teams of 4. Then, they go the front of the class to be asked questions about their three statements written on the board. By show of hands, the class decides which one is the truth.
This is an amazing ice breaker!!! I recommend it to all teachers...
