Personality Idioms and Types
Students enjoy learning the different idioms used to describe types of people. I pair them up and have them match the idiom to the meaning. Then I review. When I review, I really go into detail and explain the answers. I make it fun by adding funny examples. Then students survey each other with the Find the student worksheet. Enjoy!

Get To Know You Bingo
Bingo games of this type are very common, but they work! Each student gets a Bingo card, and must circulate the classroom looking for other students to "sign off" on a square. My adult writing class did this activity the first day of school, and it was a great way for them to get out of the seats and learn something about their classmates. Be sure ...

What every kid needs to hear.
This a great worksheet to use with kids and adults. Even kids need to know what should be said to them...so maybe they can encourage the adults around them to talk to them this way...or even the kids to use the vocabulary with their brothers or sisters...every little bit helps. Have fun.
