Time and Life idioms
Cut cards into strips and distribute evenly among students. If too many cards, give stronger students more than one card. Students mingle, reading their idiom and example sentence. The student they are talking to has to try guess the meaning using the context of the sentence. Follow up with a game of "Backs to the Board" or a quiz.
