Were you ... ? (simple past questions was/were )
A partnered-survey which students conduct using the simple past of the verb "to be". After determining answers ("yes I was", "no I wasn�t") and entering a check or an X, students then consolidate their findings by writing sentences. Encourage all students to answer with complete short answers ("yes, I was", "no, I wasn�t").
