Past simple Yr6 EAL - sentence level
I used this with the top 40 irregular verbs in a Year 6 EAL class at a British school. The warmer was a connect four game played in teams in order to revise all those tricky verbs. The written outcome was a recount of a holiday paying particular attention to joining up sentences and using the positive and negative forms accurately.
