Compresses Syllables - pronunciation exercise + KEY
The exercise focuses on words which may seem to have the same number of syllables as the number of vowels in the word. In fact some of them are silent and we do not pronounce them. The exercise is very useful even at higher levels than elementary, because people very often mispronounce these words.
