There was / there were
A simple and plain worksheet to practise the verb "there to be" in the past simple. It contains four tasks: blank filling, multiple choice (X 2) and a last exercise to choose between a singular and a plural noun. This worksheet is similar to another I uploaded some time ago (there is / there are). I hope it may be useful. Have a great Sunday!!
