english tenses the mathematical way: present simple and past simple
this is a system I devised working with high school pupils for those who do not have instinctive knowledge of grammar (which is quite frequent). It shows English tenses under the form of mathematical equations. Quite nice to get them to use grammar with very complicated tenses. I shall send the rest with the modalities later

A good song to wrap up simple past and simple present, also to compare and contrast them, and a liiiitle bit of future tense with �will� (maybe to introduce it as the next topic?). There�s a word bank at the bottom of the page to help the students, but they still have to convert the verbs to the correct forms.
