Students have to look up a superhero on the internet and complete the sheet. I have them pick a name from a bag beforehand so that everyone has a different superhero to describe. I use this activity with the unit on superheroes in Interactive.

This is one of the first lessons I taught for ESL, and excluding some of the homework assignments, it is entirely complete. It includes a listening exercise at the beginning for the original Spider-man theme song, but if you cannot bring that into class via you tube and computer, you can just sing it.
