The maze runner: description of places
I have decided to work on the first novel of the Maze Runner from Dashner with my students. I used this worksheet to make them work on the description of imaginary places. They have to read the beggining of chapter 4 and use the elements of the chapter to draw the Glade. Then they have a guided writing to make them describe a mysterious place.

reading practice game
This famous board game can be used to practice reading short and long vowels. Here I made a chart with only short vowel words, but it is easy to add another chart with long vowel words and practice them. I used it with my class and kids loved it.
Hope it will be useful for you too.
Thank you.
