Here�s the first reading test I wrote which I give my younger students. It�s the first letter of an Englisg girl to her French pen pal. It�s a little long but it contains mostly basic vocabulary, transparent words... They usually find it easy, and I use it also to show them they can guess the meaning of a new word with a little logic.

I created these activities after seeing the British film "Slumdog Millionaire". Students have a reading comprehension on the plot. They have to answer some questions about the text and find the meaning of some difficult words in a matching exercise. They can also read about the TV game "Who wants to be a millionaire".
