A terrible cinema trip
This board game is about a terrible trip to the cinema. Pupils play the game and make full sentences using the prompts and conjugationg the verbs correctly. I made this as a follow up activity to a test where they were asked to tell a story about a cinema trip that went wrong. Some pupils need more practise with the past tenses so this is a fun way to do it. The ideas that came up in thier compositions were varied...having a bad dream, being attacked by monsters, getting lost, an earthquake, a fire, the film becoming reality. You can adapt this to your needs of course. Thanks to Motivator Tech for the game board.
