I´ve prepared this activity based on the documentary "Waiting for Superman", a 2010 film from director Davis Guggenheim (An Inconvenient Truth, 2006). The film analyses the failures of the American public education, and even though it received several awards, it also had lots of criticism from commentators, reformers and educators. I included several video links, both for and against, to raise my students´ personal opinion and start a debate on it. HOPE IT HELPS!
