How to think in English (video-based)
This worksheet is based on a video (youtube link attatched). Itīs about learning English and, more particularly, learning to think in English. Itīs an important skill to have and develop from the very beginning and I find this reflection extremely important for learnersī autonomy development.
It contains a pre-watching discussion, a watching for gist task and a watching for detail task. There are questions for pairwork discussion in the end.
This worksheet is suitable for the first lesson with a strong elementary or a pre-intermediate group. It will help you know your studentsī expectations, motivation and needs better, and help them to reflect on their learning process.
