Loneliness - a video lesson
This video is great for raising awareness about loneliness, its possible causes and how to help yourself or others who are in this situation. The worksheet provides you with some questions for discussion, and highlights a few keywords. The video should be screened in sections, and there should be enough time for the students to discuss the questions with their partner(s) before watching the next part of the video. Then you can have a plenary discussion after each section. This might be a sensitive topic for some people, so only propose this activity in groups with a certain maturity. The video comes with English subtitles, so you can turn this on with lower level classes.
