MTV Video Music Awards
I used this worksheet in the context of a unit based in music, where my students and I have been commenting on music history and styles developing through time. This worksheet is to practise reading and listening comprehension using the MTV Video Music Awards, including a video report on the 2011 edition of the awards.My students liked it a lot, so I hope yours will too. At the end of the class we used a karaoke to sing the best awarded song (Adele´s Rolling in the Deep) and the video of the year (Katy Perry´s Firework) which I´m using for further activities on this topic.
