Video Quiz - Marley &Me
Students watch the movie and then teacher gives them the handout.This activity can be carried out as a game: in small groups, students are given some time to answer the quiz. Each group gets a set of cards with the letters A, B, C and D. Teacher then asks for the answers. They have to raise the card that corresponds to the letter they chose. The winner is the group that scores the highest number of points. I have done this actitivy several times with many different groups and it has always been a success. Students get really excited. A fun competition is always a key element to promote student engagement.
