Visit also: Magic Vocabulary English vocabulary games and worksheets generator. by nika114 Date: 01 - Feb - 2010 Level: intermediate Age: +9 Description: This is one of the listenings I give to my students in the beginning of the year.I first give them a short reading about Kennedy and his speech and then the listening.Most of the words to choose from are nonsense but it makes them very proud that they can understand a president´s authentic speech so early!I advice them to write what they hear,the sound of it even if they don´t understand the meaning.Or I give the handout and ask them to try to quess what word is missing and then the listening.And of course it is also a good piece for a discussion about the Second World War.
