Hi Guaguis5,

Do you mean an advanced book to help you give your class or a book to work with your students?
If so Passages from Cambridge University Press is very useful. It also includes a classroom cd and a workbook for ss to practice.
You can also use In Charge.

Hope that helps,
Alex

Another advanced English book that I used with my students and that I found to have some interesting material is New Headway Advanced from Oxford University Press. Here is a link to a site with more information on it: http://www.oup.com/elt/catalogue/isbn/3510?cc=gb

Activate is great (has an accompanying dvd), so is Countdown to FCE, Adventures (Intermediate), the whole Cutting Edge series (Starter-Advanced), depends which age group sts you have. To help you enrich it all, you can use Penguin Guides(Vocabulary 1-5, Idioms. Phrasal Verbs, etc.), and various readers with dvd/CD-roms, such as Penguin and Macmillan. Longman also has some great CD-roms, but I would also suggest using some "live" texts, such as TV and movies(use English or no subtitles and audio) magazines (the National Geographic), literature(pick texts according to your group s interests and needs - e.g if they need legal vocabulary, use Grisham, if it s crime,, use Patricia Cornwall...) Enjoy yourself!
