I think we usually eat the soup...maybe we sip it sometimes(even though not very classy..)
But to drink it??... |

I always use eat soup!!! And I have an English teacher, friend of mine from England that is here with me and he �s saying that the correct one is: EAT SOUP!!!

I �m chuckling here. I think the only time you drink soup is if it is �Cuppa soup �, that instant soup you drink out of a cup. Hmm... It �s cold here tonight. I wouldn �t mind some soup right now.

Soup always has some kind of food in there whether it is onions, or chunky potatoes etc so it is always "eat soup!!!"
I can see the confusion though. I find koreans regulary make mistakes here. The other way around though. |
