Hi,

Hi,

I am wondering what is the right verb in this sentence :

I  (  drink     -   eat  ) soup.

Thanks in advance.

I think we usually eat the soup...maybe we sip it sometimes(even though not very classy..)

I m chuckling here.  I think the only time you drink soup is if it is Cuppa soup , that instant soup you drink out of a cup. Hmm... It s cold here tonight. I wouldn t mind some soup right now.

Soup always has some kind of food in there whether it is onions, or chunky potatoes etc so it is always "eat soup!!!"

I can see the confusion though.  I find koreans regulary make mistakes here.  The other way around though.
