"Australia is the place where I would like to live in."
Australia is the place I would like to live. is better.
You could say I would like to live in Australia.
"Australia is the place where I was born."
This sentence is fine. |

Australia is the place where I would like to live. Or
Australia is the place (which /that) I would like to live in.
The second sentence is correct.

Hello Liz,
Well, in the first sentence, it s better to say " Australia is the place where I would like to live." There s no need to add the preposition " in " coz I think " where" represents the relative pronoun of place.
The second is definitely correct.

In my opinion, in the first sentece either you use where, or the preposition in. Not both things together.
So, you can say: Australia is the place where I would like to live, or
Australia is the place i would like to live in.
As for the second sentence, its perfect. |
