Which one is correct :
1- I teach grade 2 secondary .
2- I teach secondary grade 2.

I only remember second grade.
In the states we had
elementary school
middle school (junior high school)
High School
Not sure what secondary school is???

Hi Miss Noor, Liberty, Zora, Ahlam,
I think it depends on the country and the type of education system is has. Miss Noor �s question is slighly ambiguous for me because here in Australia "Grade 2" is a primary school level for students aged 7-8. Whereas the term "secondary" (secondary schools) is for students aged between 12-17. As a result, we wouldn �t have grade 2 secondary or visa versa.

I �m with Ranclaud here. This is the first I �ve ever heard of a second grade in secondary school. The education system I am most familiar with is the South African one. I have just consulted with a British colleague and they don �t have it in the UK either.

Thank u all for ur replying.
I teach in Saudi Arabia.
And here there are three kinds of school : primary ( 1st - 6th grade ) , intermediate ( 1st -3rd grade) grade and secondary ( 1st -3rd grade ).
