Hello!
In Slovenia we started on the first of September and will finish on the 24 of June next year!
We have some short breaks in between and a two month summer holidays!

In Egypt we usualy start between the 6th and the 10th of sept.
This year we have the holly month of ramadan followed by the little bairam, but this never stoped us to report back to school as ramadan is calculated according to the hijri year, so we just spend ramadan with a reduced school day ( we finish school an hour earlier) and take three or four days off for the bairam after ramadan.
BUT this year due to the pork flu, the government decided that we �ll start the first of October.. |

In Malta we start on the 23rd of September - the students had 3 months hols. |

In Romania we start on Sept 15th - till June the 14th with 3 holidays meanwhile. Our Ss, too, have 3 months summer holiday - which is boring for us! Tooooooooooooo much!

In Bulgaria we start on 15th, September, next Tuesday. We have a ceremony held in each school to welcome our first graders and all the students back at school. We don �t study on 15th. We start serious work on the next day.

in France, the teachers are back on September 1st and the pupils one day afterwards. Next holidays will be October 24th for ten days! Bye |

To be more precise than Laetou, we started on September the first, have about two weeks holidays at the end of October, for Christmas, in February and around Easter, then we stop the school year at the very beginning of July (2nd or 4th) for two months. Have a nice week-end. Hugs. |
